Morris MD-515 dreadnought, natural finish, made in Japan 1983. Morris launched in 1967 under the watchful eye of master luthier Toshio "Mori" Moridaira, and they became quite a substantial player in the local Japanese market over the 70s and 80s. This is a tasty handmade vintage dreadnought, made with care from quality materials. It's a comfy player with an agreeable neck shape and reasonable action. The tone is warm and open with a generous dynamic response, it's got a lot og charm. The back has some really lovely grain on show and the top is set off nicely by the abalone inlays. Classy stuff, and heaps of guitar for the cashola.
