Big Jam pedals launched in 1978... very early in the piece for pedals out of Japan; it was the same year an obscure little company called Boss were bringing things to market. The brand was a project of Nihon-Hammond Ltd, a joint venture between the USA based Hammond Organ Co and Japanese based company Shokai. It's old and kinda rare, sure. But, what makes it cool is the sound. You can get really wild, wide-ranging phase, all-out amphibian-erotica levels. It does subtle stuff nicely too. Any setting on it seems to sounds amazing, and you can dial in all sorts of settings. I'm tempted to keep this one, so buy it before I change my mind.
