(ARCHIVE) Lie-banez RG-Style Partscaster Flubber Green c2018

RG style, very green, made in China (presumably) pretty recently. Now, over the last six years or so, I've bought literally thousands of guitars on the used market in Japan sight unseen via our very reliable agents on the ground. I generally know what I'm looking at and so do they, so I've never had the misfortune of buying a fake in all that time... until now. I saw this pop up from a private seller in Japan, listed and badged as a one-off Ibanez J-Custom. Turns out it was definitely not that. Here's the lesson: if it looks too good to be true, it almost certainly is. On arrival, we de-badged it, replaced the non-functional not-EMG pickups and did a reasonable setup on the not-Floyd-Rose bridge, so it's playing okay and is a pretty reasonable guitar for the cash. It has it's assets: very cool finish, fancy binding, neck-through build etc. Anyway, it'll serve a young player or a mod-scientist well, so take it off my hands and have your wicked way with it. I'm losing a stack of cash on it, my loss is your gain!
