(ARCHIVE) Pedulla MVP Bass Champagne Sparkle 1988
- Description
- Guitarchives
MV Pedulla MVP bass, champagne sparkle, handmade in USA in 1988. This is a proper boutique bass: no CNC routers, one man on the tools, brilliant materials. Pedulla basses are well known for their unique look: the super deep cutaway is really eye-catching. It serves a higher purpose though; the access to the upper frets is excellent and you can move around the neck with absolute ease. The maple body is very resonant and offers a bright, articulate and balanced tone; this will slot into just about any genre with no issues at all. The Bartolini pickups are great and contrast and blend perfectly with each other. The thin lacquer champagne sparkle finish looks killer under lights and has a really nice luxurious 3D look. This is an excellent high-end bass, it'll take whatever you throw at it!
Model: Pedulla MVP

Cosmetic condition notes: Mild finish wear. There's some chips in the lacquer, one near the input jack, one on the electronics cover, and one just above the electronics cover on the back. There's a couple of minor dimples around the place, the most noticeable are on the front near the bridge and on the back of the headstock near the neck join. Overall: very good condition (8/10)
Playing condition notes: Action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electrics tested and working properly. Frets have some minor wear, nothing to worry about, 7/10. Set up with fresh 45/105s. Sleek!
