This item is non-functional, sold as-is and intended as a project.

Known issues: neck is warped, kicking up above the 12th fret

The skinny: this bass is suffering from a common issue, some 'ramping' above the 12th fret. It's playable below the 12th, but the top octave of the fretboard suffers from fret buzz and choking. Normally, such an issue can be corrected by a fret level and dress, or in nastier cases, you can plane the board flat and re-fret the neck. That's tricky in this case as the board is a 1.5mm radius laminate rosewood piece, so there's not really enough board there plane it out to get it sorted. So, replace the neck, or replace the board with a slab board... there's a few options. The pickups, hardware etc are all in good functional order.  If it was fully functional and in good order, this instrument would normally list for around $745A.
