Most spring reverb pedals are designed to do that subtle amp-like thing, which this kinda does with the balance control set at 9 o clock or below. Above that, this ascends into tropical thunderstorm levels of wash and wetness; it gets extremely gnarly very quickly. But hey, sensible rarely changes the world right?
