Rex 522 5w 1x8" Guitar Combo Amp

Rex 522 amp, made in Melbourne around 1963. Rex amps were made by a division of Lamberti Bros, one of Australia's longest running importers and distributors of music goods. This one absolutely belongs to a simpler era, but it's a cute little thing. At 3w, it's not super loud, although with a boost or drive pedal in front, it moves a bit of air. There's no power switch, it's always on when plugged in. The copper painted back cover, patterned cream tolex and fancy grill cloth make for a fetching aesthetic. One only, snooze not.
