Ric 4003 bass, Jetglo finish, made in USA 2020. We've had a handful of these through the shop, and they never hang around long and always turn plenty of heads. This stunning creature is the flagship Ric model, with the triangular inlays, fretboard binding with nibs and the stereo outputs. At 4.4kg it's pretty well weighted and feels nicely balanced in the hands. The D-shape neck is typically-Ric in shape, slightly square-ish on the edges and a similar width to a P-bass. It feels very alive in the hands, the natural resonance and snarky attack make you feel every little note you play. Plugged in, you get a walloping attack with a girthy natural low end and a searing treble that will make sure you're never lost in the mix again. It does it's best work with a decent dose of overdrive or fuzz, although the naturally articulate voice and singing sustain do clean up nicely. You've always wanted one, right? Darth Sidious told me 'it's your dessssstiny'.
