Schecter Riot-4 Session Bass Aged Natural Satin 2014
Schecter Riot-4 Session, natural finish, made in Korea 2014. This is a super quick, mean sounding bass. The neck is skinny without being miniscule, comfy and slick in the hands and with easy access all the way up to the 24th fret. The ash body is nice and light and brings a certain natural midrange growl to the tone, plus... the grain is nice, right? The active EMG pickups and three band EQ mean you can dial in a heap of different tones, and it'll clean up nicely if you're not doing big heavy stuff too. If you're hankering for a modern bass that'll punch well above it's dollars, this one is surely worthy.
