Skreddy make terrific stuff; everything they do is classy. This adds flavour and punch to your tone. iIt's not so much a 'clean boost', although it does have plenty of boost on tap; moreso a pre-amp designed to add some clarity and dynamics and offer some nice EQ tweaks. Awesome.
