(ARCHIVE) Sobbat DB-3 Drive Breaker Distortion Pedal
- Description
- Guitarchives
Sobbat stuff is handmade in Kyoto, Japan and has been around since 1995. This version of the Drive Breaker is designed with sustain in mind. The voicing sits somewhere between a standard Tube Screamer and a DS-1 and is designed to work best with humbuckers. As with all Sobbat stuff, the controls are really interactive. Winding the tone down cuts highs, but also boosts the low end for a thick swampy growl, plus, there's heaps of gain range on tap. With the boost control engaged, you can get a clean amp singing with harmonics and sustain. Plus... cool graphics!
