Squier Affinity Series Strat Modded Black 2005

Sold out

Squier Affinity Series Strat, black, made in China 2005. This handy little guy has been blessed with a loaded Fender pickguard, so it's got some pickups and electronics from a Mexican Standard Strat to bolster it's tone and robustness. It's a good sounding, easy playing basic Strat that'll easily get a young enthusiast off to a great start.

Model: Squier Affinity Series Strat
Made: 2005, China (serial CXS051033408)
Finish: black, white 3-ply guard
Body: basswood
Neck: maple with rosewood board, dot inlays
Mods: Fender Mexico Strat loaded pickguard installed; includes Fender Standard pickups, pots etc
Pickups: Fender Mexico Standard Single-Coil Strat x3
Case: none

Cosmetic condition notes: Mild finish wear. Headstock has some minor marks on the end and back. Neck is fairly clean, there's a minor dent behind the first fret. The back has a few scratches and marks, most notably on the bottom edge, rear edge, top horn and behind the cavity cover; none are nasty. The front has a couple of dimples near the jack and a little chip on the top edge up from the bridge pickup, as well as some light scratches from play. Overall: very good condition (8/10).

Playing condition notes: Action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electrics tested and working properly. Frets look great, they're almost new; 9/10 for life left. Setup with fresh 10/46s.
