Squier Affinity Series Strat Modded Navy Blue 2011

$195.00

Squier Affinity Series Strat, dark blue, made in Indonesia 2011. This is a handy little guitar, it'd certainly get a beginner off to a great start. The Indo-made Squiers are renowned for great build quality, and this feels classy in the hands. It's had a mod: the second tone knob has been replaced with a switch that engages the neck pickup in any position, so you can run bridge + neck or all three pickups together if you please. It's surprisingly handy and opens up some additional fatness in the tone. If you're after a clean, classy basic Strat, this will do the trick.

Model: Squier Affinity Series Strat
Made: 2011, Indonesia (serial IC011002482)
Finish: navy blue, white 1-ply guard
Body: alder)
Neck: maple with rosewood board, dot inlays
Mods: 1st tone knob now master tone control, second knob replaced with toggle switch to engage neck pickup in any position
Pickups: original Standard Single-Coil Strat x3
Case: none

Cosmetic condition notes: Mild finish wear. Headstock has some minor marks on the end, neck has a couple of minor dimples; most notably on the back around from the 4th fret. The back has some minor marks, most notably on the body carve and behind the cavity cover. There's some marks around the sides, mostly near the input jack and on the shoulder carve area. The front is pretty clean, just some dimples near the jack and some play scratching on the guard and top horn. Overall: very good condition (8/10).

Playing condition notes: Action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electrics tested and working properly. Frets look great, they're almost new; 9/10 for life left. Setup with fresh 10/46s playing just fine!
