Squier Affinity Strat Burgundy Mist Metallic 2013
Squier Affinity Strat, Burgundy Mist Metallic, made in China 2013. This little cutie was made a few years back, when times were a bit simpler. Squier was briefly doing the Affinity in limited quantities in some 1960s custom colours, so this is one of those. It also hails to the era before the CITES rosewood excitement of 2015, so it's got a proper slab of rosewood for the fretboard alongside a legit alder body. It sounds like a Strat: bright and chirpy with a clear attack and sparkly top end. These Chinese made Affinity models are a little tighter and tidier than the later Indonesian examples, although it's still a pretty basic offering. But hey: it plays nicely and it really is cute as hell.

Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear. The headstock has minor scuffs on the back. The neck is clean and smooth in the hands, minor rub wear on the back only. The back has dimples on the bottom edge and scuffs along the back edge. The sides have a chip near the rear strap pin and some dimples near the jack. The front has scuffs along the back edge and around the jack and some play wear on the guard and horns.
Overall: very good condition (8/10)
Playing condition notes: Action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electronics tested and working properly. Wearing fresh 10/46 Moonshiners strings.
Fret life: 9/10, minor wear only
