Squier Classic Vibe 70s P, black, made in China 2014. Squier's CV stuff is among their highest-end offerings, and they're generally pretty well regarded. This example has a bound fretboard and block inlays, referencing the CBS-era basses of the 1970s. It's a very lightweight example at 3.8kg, so it's comfy if you're playing long sets. The previous owner installed a Duncan Quarter Pound pickup and some flatwound strings, which is a great combo. It's round, warm and punchy and will fill out a mix nicely. YOu could spend more cash on a fancier P, but this is pretty convincing, and leaves some you some change for other stuff bass players enjoy, like cargo shorts and brown shoes.
