Squier Classic Vibe Bass VI FSR Shell Pink 2021
Squier Bass VI, limited run shell pink, made in Indonesia 2021. The Bass VI has enjoyed a major resurgence in the last few years; they're really having a moment. They're an unusual instrument: by default tuned like a guitar, but an octave down, so you can do a whole bunch of interesting things with it. It's kind of a baritone guitar, kind of a bass. Add a foot thick filthy fuzz and you'll stop worrying about how to classify it and start enjoying wobbling the walls. This one was part of a limited run done up in Shell Pink with a matching headstock. It looks absolutely picture perfect: slick curves, block inlays, dark rosewood, shiny chrome... yum. The previous owner upgraded the vibrato tailpiece too, so this one is significantly more stable and smooth than a stock example. Yes, it costs more than a new one. Yes, that's mainly because of the unusual, vibrant colour. But, you didn't take up playing music to be a sensible sort of person with a boring looking guitar, did you?

Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear. The headstock has scuffs on the end. The neck is clean and smooth in the hands, no major marks. The back has minor scuffs along the elbow area and back edge. The sides have dimples on the top horn and near the jack. The front has light scuffs around the tailpiece and knobs, the plastic film is still on the guard.
Overall: excellent condition (9/10)
Playing Condition Notes: Action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electronics tested and working properly. Wearing Fender 24-84 strings.
Fret Life: 9/10, very minor wear only
