Squier Contemporary Active Jazzmaster HH ST Graphite Metallic 2021
Squier Active Jazzmaster, graphite metallic, made in China 2021. If you're after a jangly Jazzmaster to play surf rock ditties with a clean amp and spring reverb, this may not be the guitar for you. But, if you're pissed off and full of angry riffs, but in a hipstery, existentialist kinda way, this is going to be perfect. First up, it's very comfy: the well balanced offset body, modern C neck and Adjust-O-Matic bridge make for easy playing. The active humbuckers are hot and heavy: heaps of output, thick and fast lows, angry mids... it'll make your amp sit up and pay attention, and loves a good chugg. The sleek shiny dark grey outfit looks crisp too, it's the thinking-girl's take on black. Can you still manage a wall of death while sipping a Colombian pink bourbon flat white?

Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear. The headstock has scuffs on the end and bottom edge and some dimples on the back near the neck join. The neck is clean and smooth in the hands, minor dimples and rub wear on the back only. The back has scuffs near the neck plate, back edge and elbow area and a dent near the battery box. The sides have a minor crack in the clear coat on the bass side of the neck join and some dimples on the top horn and near the jack. The front has dimples in the elbow area and back edge and some play wear on the guard and horns.
Overall: excellent condition (9/10)
Playing condition notes: Action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electronics tested and working properly. Wearing fresh 11/49 Moonshiners strings.
Fret life: 9/10, minor wear only
