Squier P Bass, vintage white, made in Japan 1993/4. The Silver Series heralded a return to Japanese manufacturing for Squier, and they were met with great acclaim upon arrival owing to their brilliant build quality and classic feel. This one is in crispy olympic white, which is a nice change from the much more common sunburst finish. This one is in pretty shiny shape for a 25ish year old instrument, it's looking really good. The classic-P tone is there in spade; it has a big thick growl with great clarity and warmth. The satin finish neck is a highlight; it's barely been played and feels super slick in the hands. This is significantly cheaper than a lot of current offerings from Squier, and it really has a whole lot of proper MIJ-mojo that you really don't get on new offerings. Cool!

Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear. Headstock and neck are pretty clean. Back has a couple of very slight buckle rash scuffs, barely visible. The sides have a couple of very small dimples on the shoulder and near the knobs. The front has some uneven fading from a since-removed sticker: it reads 'extreme' in 80s futuristic text, very light and only visible up close. Otherwise the front is very clean, just some dimples behind the bridge and play wear on the guard and top horn. Overall: very good condition (8.5/10)
Playing condition notes: Action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electrics tested and working properly. The frets look almost new, 9/10 for fret life left. Wearing fresh 45/105s.
