Squier P Bass, Silver Series, made in Japan in 94/95. These old Japanese Squier basses really do live up to the hype, this is a beautifully made instrument. The neck has a worn-in satin finish and feels awesome in the hand, it's responsive, comfortable and has that bit of 'magic'. The three tone sunburst finish is super clean, it's hard to see much wear for it's 23+ years of playing. The tone has that big P-punch and body that comes out effortlessly. This very much a gig-ready, classy and understated player's companion that'll never get less desirable as the decades wear on.

Model: Squier Silver Series Precision Bass, '62 Reissue
Made: 1994/95 Japan, FujiGen Gakki plant, (serial S005090)
Finish: 3-tone-sunburst, 3-ply white guard
Body: basswood/wood-fibre
Neck: maple with Rosewood board, dot inlays
Mods: none
Pickup: Fender Japan stock P-bass
Case: none

Cosmetic condition notes: light finish wear, no major dings, just a few little things here and there. There's some minor dings and scratches around the body and a little play-wear on the guard. The chrome has discoloured to a nice smoky look. Overall: very good condition (8/10)

Playing condition notes: Action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good. All electrics tested and working properly. Frets have some wear, but it's pretty minor and there's no real pitting; there's heaps of life left in them. These basses are famous for their great feel, and this is a perfect example. Set up with 45/105s.

** A note to long-time Topshelfers: we've sold this bass previously, it's landed back here on trade so it's up for grabs again. Pics are current **
