Stafford SLG300 B-25 Style Mini Acoustic Cherry Sunburst c2010
Stafford SLG300, made in Korea 2010 approx, cherry sunburst. Stafford made a name for themselves producing high quality acoustics and archtop electrics, many of which were made at the famed Terada plant in Japan. This little Korean made cutie is based off the Gibson B-25, a 3/4 size flat top made from 1962-8. It's super comfy in the hands, perfect for the couch. The tone is pretty handy too, especially given the smaller size. It's got a sweet spanky attack with a nice mid-heavy growl; it's great for fingerstyle playing or blues stuff. The cherry burst hits the figure eight body curves just right; it's a really nice looking little thing. If you're after a handy little traveller or loungeroom riff composition buddy, this will put a smile on your dial.
