Taylor 150e 12-String Acoustic/Electric 2017
Taylor 150E 12-string, made in Mexico 2017, natural satin finish. Taylor make lovely guitars, even their more basic ones are pretty excellent. This is a tasty twelve, it's got a lot to offer. First, it's pretty easy to play. The neck is a nice balance between being wide enough to accurately hit your notes but slim enough to play without discomfort; it's super straight with very tidy frets and feels great to play. The tone is balanced and full with a singing, articulate top end and a warm, assertive bass... yum. The pickup works very well too, it represents the unplugged tone pretty accurately and is easy to dial in. The clean lines of the shape and the walnut grain on the back add up to a classy aesthetic; this looks lovely. These don't come up used all that often, so if you've got a 12-string-hankering and enjoy nice things, this will surely make you smile.

Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear. Headstock has some minor marks on the end. Neck is clean and smooth in the hands, no major marks. The back is pretty clean, just a minor scuff in the bottom corner. The sides are also very tidy, just some minor dimples in the elbow area and bottom corner. The front is also nice and tidy, just some light scuff marks above and in front of the bridge and some light play wear on the guard and horns. Overall: excellent condition (9/10)
Playing condition notes: Very low action, neck is straight, intonation is good. All electronics tested and working properly. Frets are in great shape with minor wear only, 9/10 for fret life left. The bridge has been professionally re-glued to the top by our local pro luthier, so it's now exceptionally stable and functioning perfectly. Setup with fresh strings.
