Fender '69 Reissue Mustang, yellowed sonic blue, crafted in Japan 99-02. Mustangs are such comfortable, fun guitars to play. The short scale, slim neck, 7.25" radius and lightweight body... it all adds up to a moorish player. The single coils produce a sweet, warm attack, with the trademark super-short sustain; it really responds well to spanky riffs and belted chords. The finish... oh gosh. Looking inside the neck pocket, you can see the original blue peeking through, so it's most likely to be sonic blue that's yellowed heavily over it's lifetime. It really does look exceptional, it's such a perfect look on this body shape. You don't see many guitars that look this good.
