- Guitarchives
Fender Precision Bass, '62 reissue (1994/95) made in Japan, in classy candle apple red. This guy has the classic P-tone: round, warm, thick with plenty of thump. It's fairly light and perfectly balanced with a comfortable, rounded typical P-style neck; it feels great in the hands. The mid-90s Fender Japan stuff is generally very nicely put together, and this is no exception. Plus, candy apple red always looks great on stage! You can't go wrong with a classic, and this is a great example.
