Fender P-Bass, '57 reissue in tuxedo style black-and-white, made in Japan 1993/4. Maple board '57 MIJ P basses aren't that common, as they were the high-end models that fetched a bit more when they were new. The maple-board/black-and-cream combo oozes class and mojo, it's a seriously great looking instrument. The tone is a little brighter and more defined than a standard MIJ P, it's got a really nice tight sound with plenty of rumble and nice little dose of cut. The neck feels awesome, it's well balanced and reassuringly chunky. The bass has a US Fender pickup and the spiral saddles, both are nice factory upgrades. You really can't go wrong with a good P, and this is one is very good indeed.

Cosmetic condition notes: Light finish wear. There's a few minor scratches and dings over the body and headstock. Neck are board are looking clean. The single ply guard is sitting flush still, although it has plenty of play-wear and would've once been a brighter white. Chrome parts have aged to a very cool smoky look, they're looking ace. Overall: good condition.
Playing condition notes: Action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good. All electrics tested and working properly. Light, bright and feels right. Set up with fresh 45/105s.
