Fender Stratocaster, '57 reissue in aged vintage white, made in Japan 1987-88. What a looker! The finish has aged so nicely over around 30 years, both body and neck; you really can't get that look from a new guitar. The neck feels excellent, you get a nice smooth snap out of the maple board, it's a comfortable semi-chunky classic that's easy to love. These late 80s MIJ Fenders are famously brilliant, and this one has aged pretty gracefully; it's ready for another few decades of being awesome.

Cosmetic condition notes: mild finish wear. There's some minor scratches on the back near the strap pin. The vintage white finish has yellowed significantly and evenly to a buttery colour, it looks great. The guard has some play-wear, back plate is missing, chrome parts have dulled. The board has aged to a delicious golden-syrup colour Overall: good condition (7.5/10)
Playing condition notes: Action is very low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electrics tested and working properly. Frets have some wear but they're pretty even and have plenty of life left, 8/10. Addictive, smooth player!
