Fender Tele, limited edition double bound '62 reissue with noiseless pickups, made in Japan in 2013. These were only made in 2013, so you won't see many around! Fender Japan took the regular '62 style tele, put the truss rod control at the headstock end, added a 22nd fret, put a thin semi-gloss poly on the neck and added a pair of crystal-clear noiseless pickups. The results are great: effortless playing and defined, articulate tones. If you like to start with a clean tone and add layers of grit and effects, this is a nice brush to paint with. The neck is especially good, the thin finish really makes it easy to move around. Plus, the double-bound body looks great, no?
