(SOLD) Used Paul Reed Smith Wood Library DC22 Tobacco Sunburst

PRS limited edition Wood Library DC22, McCarty tobacco burst, made in Maryland USA 2010. These were made in two runs; there's 125 around the world in total. This is number 23 of the initial run of 25... it's a rare bird! The DC22 borrows some elements from GIbson's double cut LP, so it has a wraparound bridge, 24.5" scale, a neck profile similar to the historic '59 LP and obviously the LP-DC body shape. The finish is done a little differently, with a sealer coat applied before the stain; this takes the edge of the usual PRS-bling; combined with the moon inlays; it's got a classy and clean look. That top is truly something to behold! The body is slightly slimmer than a standard LP, and despite being unchambered mahogany, it's quite light. The 59/09 pickups have a super sweet growl and chime, they're clear and articulate with a heap of midrange oomph. If you've got a hankering for a top notch not-quite-LP, this really is one classy killer.
