Squier J Bass, Silver Series, made in Japan in 91/92, black on black. The Silver Series marked a 90s era return to Japan's legendary Fujigen factory for Squier after several years of manufacture in Korea, and at the time, they were heralded as a revelation in quality. This feels nicely put together, it's tight, light and responsive. The neck is beautifully played in, there's nothing quite like a neck with some miles on it like this to make it easy to connect with. The black-on-black looks awesome and altogether better for a few marks here and there, it's got a no-nonsense swagger about it. Cool bass for a great dollar!
