Yamaha BB734A Bass Translucent Matte Black 2021
Yamaha BB734A, black, made in Indonesia 2021. This is a very solid bass. The Broad Bass series kicked off in the 1970s, and this is the latest evolution of that line. It's approximately P-ish, but with an adjusted body shape, a P/J pickup set with an active preamp and some sturdy hardware. It's a modern tone with plenty of clarity, although you can dial a pretty mean growly P-style tone with the right settings also. The semi-transparent matte finish is nice too, very slick.

Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear. The headstock has minor scuffs on the front near the logos. The neck is clean and smooth in the hands, rub wear on the back only. The back has minor rub wear on the horns and around the neck join, as well as some dimples in the elbow area. The sides have minor dimples in the elbow area and near the jack. The front has minor scuffs around the knobs and some play wear on the guard and horns.
Overall: excellent condition (9/10)
Playing condition notes: Action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electronics tested and working properly. Wearing fresh 45/105 strings.
Fret life: 9/10, minor wear only
