Yamaha FG-512ii 12-string, made in Taiwan around 1981, natural gloss. The twelve string really had it's day in 75-85, and this no-frills vintage beauty hails from that fine era. It's not always a given that a 12 will hold up over the decades, but this one still has a pretty flat top, a firmly attached bridge, a neck on the right angle, a functional truss rod... if that sounds like a low bar, you haven't dealt with enough vintage 12s. It sounds great: bright and shimmery, singing sustain, juicy lows... yep, that works just fine. Comes with a handy old case.

The back has a few dimples in the elbow area and some light scuffs around the whole body, nothing nasty. The sides have some light scuffs on the top horn, some dimples in the elbow area and a few scuffs on the bottom corner. The front has a few dimples around the bridge, along the back edge, in the elbow area and near the guard, as well as some standard play wear on both shoulders and the guard. Overall: very good condition (7.5/10).
Playing condition notes: action is moderately low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. The frets look have some normal wear but are in good shape, 7/10 for fret life left. Wearing fresh D'Addario strings.
