Fender Japan '70 Precision Bass PB70-70US Olympic White 2004

Fender '[70 Precision, olympic white, crafted in Japan 2004-5. I love a creamy white Precision delight, and this one has some added bonuses: a bunch of cool sticker marks and honest play wear. It radiates swagger, with the worn white contrasting against a dark streaky rosewood board and the bold black CBS-era logos. The neck on these 1970 style models has a 40mm nut, around 2mm skinnier than a standard P but wider than a Jazz Bass, which I find very comfy indeed. The combo of an alder body and the USA pickup lend this plenty of clarity and spank to balance the growly mids and punchy lows, it really does sound great. There's a lot to like here, I like it a lot.

The back has a bunch of sticker fade marks around the body, as well as some dimples on the bottom corner, back edge and elbow area, and some scuffs on both horns. The sides have dimples around the whole body, most notably in the elbow area and near the jack. The front has a bunch of sticker fade marks, scuffs in the elbow area, dimples around the bridge and controls and some play wear on the guard and horns.  Overall: good condition (7/10)
